Overview : Clara arrive à New York avec ses deux fils sur le siège arrière de sa voiture. Ce voyage, qu’elle a déguisé en une aventure pour l’intérêt de ses enfants, s’avérera bientôt être une fuite d’un mari et d’un père abusifs. Alors qu’elle volait de la nourriture dans un restaurant russe appelé Winter Palace, Clara rencontre un ex-détenu, Marc, à qui l’on a donné une chance de réisnertion dans le restaurant. Le Winter Palace devient rapidement un lieu de rencontre inattendue entre des personnes en crise que le destin a maintenant rassemblées.
